Australia
officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is an Oceanian country comprising the
mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands.
Neighbouring countries include
Papua New Guinea,
Indonesia and East Timor to the north;
the
Solomon Islands and
Vanuatu to the north-east;
and
New Zealand to the south-east.
Australia is world famous for its natural wonders and wide open spaces,
its beaches, deserts, "the bush", and "the Outback".
Australia is one of the world's most highly urbanised countries; it is well known for
the attractions of its large cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

[1] This sheetlet contains five self-adhesive stamps from the Solidarity with Ukraine stamp issue,
all packaged in a convenient wallet-sized booklet.
The design compliments stamps released by postal administrations from around the world.
In the foreground, the dove carrying an olive branch is a widely recognised as a symbol of peace.
While in the background a field of sunflowers represents the national flower of Ukraine and embraces Ukraine’s
national colours, yellow and blue.

The stamp was produced by Australian Post at the initiative of the Ukrainian
Embassy in Canberra.
The official presentation of the stamp took place on August 24
th, 2024,
during the celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day.
